Another New Year, Another Setup For Failure...

Updated: Jan 23, 2023

Another new year…another setup for failure…

It doesn’t HAVE to be that way.

You’ve probably told yourself last year you were gonna get in shape, or you were going to transform your health. How did that go for you? Statistics show that over 90 % of you will quit within the next 2 months 🤬

For me, 12 months are gone…. And not a damn thing has changed.

I weigh the same!

I eat the same!

I’ve got fat in all the SAME places!

I still wake up with a sore back!

NOTHING has changed!!!

It’s depressing to look back at the opportunity I’ve missed.

I told myself I was going to do something and I quit… I quit on myself. How does that look for my family? What would my kids think about me? They are supposed to look up to me and I am unable to keep my commitments to myself…still self-conscious at the pool and beach. I gotta tuck in my stomach for family photos.

Every New Years I tell myself “I’m gonna eat clean” and “I’m gonna workout every day!” Or “I’m gonna have a Beachbody by spring!”

What’s the problem with this? It’s not specific and it’s vague. The other problem with this is I’m about to bite off more than I can chew. When I bite off more than I can chew I lose motivation, and drive and ultimately I quit…

Each New Years that passes I feel like I have to make up for lost time which causes me to try and take on WAY more than I am ready to handle!! A thought came to me, “start where you are!” To me, it meant that if I’m not an elite bodybuilder then it doesn’t make sense for me to train like one tomorrow!

I spent some time with a good coach, “choose a goal then plan out small daily habits that will get you there! Small habits layered together to have a powerful compounding effect.”

I realized that I needed to master crawling before I can master walking, then I can master running.

Over the past 10 weeks, I’ve been able to lose 10 pounds, thanks to Carson one of our co-founders. 10 pounds in 10 weeks doesn’t sound like much, but a pound week is sustainable, it's easy, and it's not overbearing. How many weeks would it take to become and feel the way you want? Follow us at Refyne USA this year and let's actually make some real change together!

With the new year in arms reach, think about your goals and how you can make them YOURS. Do not worry about how others will achieve theirs. Create the blueprint that will ensure you will achieve yours.

We can help you with the tools needed! Reach out with any questions or concerns 🙏 and have a Happy New Year 🎊
